Canfield- A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30am Saturday in St. Michael Church for Philip J. Damiano of Canfield who passed away Monday evening at his residence.
Mr. Damiano was born May 10, 1925 in Youngstown to the late Vincent and Angelina Colla Damiano.
Philip retired from Strausbaugh's Dodge with over 37 years of service.
He was a Veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Luisa Rongone Damiano whom he married February 14, 1984; a son, Rick J. Rebecca Damiano of Arlington, TX; four step-children, Remigio Romito of New Jersey, Fred Judy Romito of Austintown, Evelyn Michael Kohowski of Richmond, VA, Jerry Brenda Romito of Charleston, SC; Eleven Grandchildren, three great-grandchildren. and a brother, Dr. Frank Damiano of Boardman.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by a grand daughter, Renee Romito, a daughter-in-law Denise Romito; three sisters, Rose Mullarky, Josephine Williams, and Angelina Damiano; four brothers, Vincent, Nicholas, Samuel, and Anthony Damiano.
Internment Green Haven Cemetery.
Friends may call Friday 5-8pm at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Boardman-Canfield Chapel; where prayers will be at 9:45AM Saturday morning.
