Rachelle Handel

BOARDMAN - A memorial celebration of the life of Rachelle M. "Shelly" Handel age 20 will be held Thursday evening at 7:00 PM at St. Charles Church in Boardman. Shelly passed away Monday afternoon at the Cleveland Clinic. Shelly was born October 21, 1984, in Youngstown, the daughter of David L. and Judie Jurus Handel. She was a student at Boardman High School where she was loved by everybody, and a member of St. Charles Church.
She is survived by her parents, two sisters, Addy and Jenny Handel, a brother David Handel all at home, and her grandparents Margaret Handel of Boardman, and Chester and Dorothy Jurus of Struthers.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather Larry Handel.
Friends may call from 5:00 PM to 6:45 PM Thursday evening at St. Charles Church.
The family has requested that material tributes take the form of donations to the Easter Seals Society of Mahoning County, 299 Edwards Street Youngstown, Ohio 44502.
Arrangements are by the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Boardman-Canfield Chapel.
