YOUNGSTOWN - Private services will be held for Raymond Heckmer, 89, who passed away Thursday at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.
Raymond was born May 6, 1924, in Youngstown, a son of the late Raymond and Mae (McCaffrey) Heckmer.
Raymond served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Military Band. He was employed with LTV Steel and was a former member of St. Patrick Church in Youngstown.
Raymond leaves his niece, Diana Schumacher, and her family of Portland, Ore.
Raymond was also preceded in death by two brothers, James and Francis Heckmer.
Professional arrangements are being handled by the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel.
