Renee Ritter

YOUNGSTOWN - A memorial service will be held Sunday afternoon at 4 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Poland Chapel for Renee A. Ritter, 53, who died Thursday afternoon at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center after a brief battle with lung cancer.

Renee was born Sept. 10, 1957, in Youngstown, the daughter of George "Pete" and Vita LoSasso Zehfuss.

Renee was a 1975 graduate of Wilson High School and had worked at G.O.I. Pools as a fabricator for over 10 years before retiring in 2006. She enjoyed being a homemaker, working on crafts and skiing.

She is survived by her son, Anthony Rosenberg, at home; her daughter, Sharon Lee Ritter of Youngstown; her sister, Andrea Bill Ricciardulli of Poland; two grandchildren, Thomas and Jessica Holmes; her niece, Alyssa Ricciardulli; a nephew, Nick Ricciardulli; and her loyal companion, her dog, Frankie.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, William Zehfuss.
