AUSTINTOWN - Richard M. McClain, 64, died peacefully Thursday morning at Briarfield Manor Nursing Home.
Richard was born Nov. 22, 1952, in Youngstown, the son of Jack and Helen (McIntyer) McClain.
He was a 1971 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force Reserves.
Richard worked for Hynes Steel for 31 years until retiring in 2014.
Richard is survived by his wife, the former Grace Frank; sons Rick McClain of Austintown and Justin Salata of Coitsville; daughter April Baird of Youngstown; brother Jack McClain of Youngstown; and five grandchildren, Jarrod, Gaven, Arianna, Gianna and Hudson.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Per Richard's wishes, there will be no calling hours or services.
Professional arrangements are being handled by the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel.
