BOARDMAN - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at the Holy Family Church, and prayers offered at 10:30 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Poland Chapel for Richard Trio, 64, who passed away on Thursday, Oct. 22, 2009.
Richard was born May 7, 1945 in Youngstown.
He was an Austintown Fitch graduate, furthering his education at Youngstown State University, achieving bachelors and MBA degrees.
He was a member of the Holy Family in Poland.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Donna, of 47 years; a son, Richard Sandra of Wilmington, N.C.; a daughter, Dani Kerry Hill of Charlotte, N.C.; four granddaughters; a grandson; a brother, Frank of Austintown; and sister, Katherine of North Lima.
His passion for life and love of family will remain in the hearts of his many friends, colleagues, neighbors, and students. During his life he was a dedicated HR Executive, Coach, Professor, and most of all Dad. He never quit anything he started and led by example.
Burial at Poland Riverside Cemetery.
