Canfield . . Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am in St. Maron's Church for Mr. Richard J. Vantell Sr. age 63 of Canfield who died at home Friday morning surrounded by his family who adored him.
Mr. Vantell was born May 10, 1941 in Youngstown a son of William and Elizabeth Esenwein Vantell.
He was a 1960 graduate of South High School and was employed by the B & B construction company, He was an Army National Guard Veteran and was a member of St. Maron's Church. was a former officer , coach in Millcreek Little League Baseball. He loved golf, baseball and bowling. Besides his wife the former Alberta "Birdie" Beshara whom he married July 28, 1964 he leaves a daughter Dianna Sean Kern of Beaver Township; 3 sons Joseph of Canfield, Richard Jr. of Pittsburgh, Pa., Vincent Stephanie Vantell of Canfield; 6 sisters Rosemarie McAtee of Canfield; Linda Siciliano of Austintown, Nancy Terry Potts of Lewisport, Kentucky, Doris Nick O'Palick of Canfield, BettyJames Wetzl of Austintown, Janet Esenwein of Austintown; 2 brothers William Jean Vantell of Austintown and Van Esenwein of Lowellville; and the love of his life his 3 grandchildren Paige, Chase, Sydney Kern and numerous nieces and nephews,
Friends may call Sunday from 4:00 -8:00 PM at the Higgins-Reardon Boardman-Canfield Chapel and on Monday from 9:00 -9:45 AM at the church.
Arrangements are by the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home Boardman-Canfield Chapel.
