YOUNGSTOWN - Services will be Sunday afternoon at 4 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel for Richard L. White, 82, of Youngstown's westside, who died unexpectedly at his home on Thursday.
Richard was born March 28, 1930, in New Castle, Pa., the son of Leroy and Arlie White.
He had served in the Army during World War II, and later worked at Youngstown Steel Door as a foreman for over 20 years before retiring.
His wife, the former Dona Hunter, whom he married Oct. 30, 1956, died April 7, 1994.
He is survived by his daughter, Alison Jake Rogers of Poland; his son, Richard H. Missy White of Mansfield, Texas; and four grandchildren, Jeremy H. White, Alicia Howard, Zachary White and Leah Howard.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers.
