BOARDMAN - Services will be Saturday at 12 Noon at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Poland Chapel for Richard A. Willshaw age 64 of Boardman, who died from complications from a stroke at St. Elizabeth Hospital after a 13 day illness. Richard was born December 14, 1939, in East Liverpool, Ohio, the son of George E. and Mary Lou Work Willshaw. He moved to this area in 1958, and was a graduate of Youngstown State University. He had worked in sales in the Automotive, and Insurance industries, and was a former member of the Poland Kiwanis. He had also been actively involved in the Poland Community Baseball Association, where had had coached for over 15 years.He is survived by his two daughters, Cindy A. Terry Jakupcin of Powell, Ohio, and Pam S. Stephen Bolger of Wintersville, Ohio, a son David S. of Chicago, a brother Phil Willshaw of Austin, Texas, and five grandchildren, Tori, and Tessa Jakupcin, and Brady, Jake, and Karly Bolger.Friends may call from 6 to 9 PM Friday, and for 1/2 hour prior to services Saturday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Poland Chapel.The family requests that material tributes take the form of donations to Hospice of the Valley 5190 Market Street, Youngstown, Ohio 44512.This obituary may be viewed and condolences sent to www.higgins-reardon.com
