MINERAL RIDGE - Services will be Saturday at 10:30 AM at the Ohltown Methodist Church for Robert J. Cadman age 67 of Mineral Ridge who passed away Wednesday morning on the 47th anniversary to his bride, after a three month battle with cancer.
Robert was born August 10, 1937, in Youngstown, the son of Edward "Bud" and Eldora L. Dunn Cadman.
He was a 1955 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School, and had enjoyed a lifelong career at his family business Cadman's Appliance. He retired in 2002 as its owner and operator, after passing it to the 3rd generation of his family. He was a member of the Ohltown Methodist Church, the Shenago Valley Sasharers Western Square Dance Club, and the International Association of Square Dance Callers.
His wife the former Judith Ann Baker whom he married May 18, 1958, passed away March 21, 2004.
He is survived by three daughters, Beth Ann and husband Martin DeVore of Boardman, Amy Lynn and husband Michael Migliore of Westerville, Ohio, and Susan and husband Keith Pusateri of Boardman, two sons Greg R. and wife Amanda Cadman of Pittsboro, NC, and Tod A. and wife Marianne Cadman of Lowellville, Ohio, two sisters, Dorothy Menning of Columbus, and Nian and husband Gale Cadman-Dake of Phoenix, Arizona, two brothers, Harry and wife Carol Cadman of Boardman, and Larry and wife Linda Cadman of New Middletown, two brothers in law, Paul and wife Sil Baker of Mineral Ridge, and Donald and wife Lydia Baker of Uniontown, Ohio, seven grandchildren, Jessica and Steven DeVore, Alyson Cadman, Kelli and Kerri Migliore, Angus Cadman, and Simon Pusateri.
Besides his wife he was preceded in death by a grandson Ian Cadman, and a sister, Terry Cadman-Olinski.
Friends may call from 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM Friday and from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM Saturday at the Ohltown Methodist Church 2001 Ohltown Rd. Mineral Ridge, Ohio 44440.
In Lieu of flowers the family has requested that material tributes take the form of donations to either The Ohltown Methodist Church, or Hospice of the Valley 5190 Market Street Boardman, Ohio 44512.
