Robert Moynihan

Austintown......Funeral Services will be held Friday at 9:00 AM at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown and 9:30 Am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Austintown for Robert T. Moynihan, age 85, of Austintown who died Monday evening at his daughter's residence after a long illness.
Mr. Moynihan was born Sept. 19, 1919 in Warren a son of Timothy and Mary Matz Moynihan.
He was a 1938 graduate of McKinley High School. He had worked at General Electric and then went into the army and was assigned to the 31st Division and served over three years in the European Theatre of Operation.
When he returned he married his wife the former Jane C. Wylie on December 1, 1945, and who died July 13, 2003 .
He was employed by McKay Wean as a machinist and retired in 1982, was a member of the church and the Mahoning Valley Gaelic Society.
Mr. Moynihan leaves three daughters Marilyn M. Ronald Cremeans of Austintown, Kathleen J. Eugene Statti with whom he made his home and Mary Lou Norman Ball of San Francisco and a son Robert T. Jr.Deborah of Austintown, and a sister Margaret Kane of California, 6 grandchildren Sheila, Jennifer, Sheila Marie, Sarah, Robert III and Brian and 9 Great-grandchildren. Friends may call Thursday from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home Austintown Chapel.
