Robert "Bob" Pachell

Robert “Bob” Pachell, 78, passed away Saturday, Aug. 31, 2024, at Hospice House.

He was born Dec. 22, 1945, in Youngstown, to the late Pete and Mary Nardella Pachell.

Bob married his high school sweetheart, Kathleen Lyden, on Sept. 2, 1969. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Bob is survived by his son, R. Sean Pachell; and daughter, Keri Garzanich. The greatest joys of his life were his granddaughter, Kaitlin (Jake) Henderson; grandson, Liam Garzanich; and his great-grandchildren, Landon and Olivia Henderson.

Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Peter Pachell.

Bob graduated from Chaney High School. He went to work at the Lordstown GM plant, retiring in 2009.He enjoyed working in his yard and his workshop, always making something special, and always ready for “dad repairs.”

His family would like to express their gratitude to the nurses and staff at Hospice House for the wonderful care for Bob.

Per Bob’s wishes, services will be private.
