YOUNGSTOWN - Robert Pavlik, 66, died Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at home after battling a long illness.
Robert was born June 3, 1948, in Youngstown, to John and Anna (Tomko) Pavlik.
He was a graduate of Ursuline High School, Ohio State University, where he studied agriculture, and received a degree in Education from Youngstown State University. Robert began his career at St. Brendan School where he taught for many years. He later retired from Mill Creek Park.
Robert is survived by a daughter, Rachel Pavlik of Fla.; a son Pete Pavlik of Fla.; a sister Patricia (Kevin) Pavlik-Reardon of Cornersburg; a grandson, Christian Pavlik; and a close friend Emil Sopkovich of Youngstown.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; son Ryan Pavlik; sister Dorothy O'Malley; and brother Charles Pavlik.
