POLAND - A prayer service will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Poland Chapel, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at the Holy Family Church for Mr. Robert M. Petruska, 73, who died Tuesday morning at his residence.
He was born July 29, 1940, in Struthers, a son of Michael J. and Mary Pavlansky Petruska.
Robert was a 1958 Struthers High School graduate and served on the Navy USS Intrepid in the Mediterranean.
He had worked in the R.V. Industry for 30 years in sales and most recently was the owner/operator of Shine Boys Car Care products.
Robert was a member of the Holy Family Church, President of Youngstown Sister Cities and was a custom car enthusiast.
He leaves his wife, the former Mary Louise Rakocy, whom he married April 18, 1964; three sons, Kenneth M. (Stacy) of Fishers, Ind., Robert S. (Brenda) of Noblesville, Ind., and Brian J. (Kara) of Poland; three sisters, Marge Klovis of Struthers, Pauline (Gene) Trimacco of Struthers, and Mary Lou Zoldak of Greenfield; one brother, Jack Petruska of Boardman; and four grandchildren, Adam, Ross, Matthew and Taylor Petruska.
Friends may call Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
