Robert Propri

Robert Propri, 74, passed away peacefully at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio, on September 16, 2024. 

He was born on June 7, 1950, in Youngstown, OH to the late Larry Propri Sr. and Rose Argio Propri. 

Robert graduated from Fitch High School. He started his career working for Cleveland-Cliffs United Steel for some time and then continued his career as a janitor at Kaufmann's. Aside from his work, he was known for his kindness and integrity, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. 

Above all, Robert was a man of God. His faith guided every aspect of his life and he dedicated himself to serving the Lord with unwavering devotion. He touched many lives through his benevolence, and his legacy of kindness will forever remain in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known him.

Robert is survived by his loving wife, Gina Maggiano Propri, who brought him immense joy and companionship throughout their life together. He cherished his three nieces, Amber Powell of Melbourne, FL, Alisha Powell of Youngstown, OH, and Shelli Niec of Hubbard, OH, whom he loved deeply and treated like daughters. Their bond provided Robert with much happiness, and he took pride in being an integral part of their lives.

He joins in eternal rest his parents, Larry Propri Sr. and Rose Argio Propri, along with his beloved sister Lorraine M. Propri, whom he shared a unique and very special relationship with for his entire life. They welcomed him with open arms, leaving behind memories that will endure forever in the hearts of those left behind.
