YOUNGSTOWN - Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, for Robert "Bruce" Trittschuh, 68, who died Friday morning at Select Speciality in Youngstown.
Robert, affectionately known as Bruce, was born June 26, 1948, in Youngstown, the son of Robert "Bob" and Jackie (Stewart) Trittschuh.
He was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and began his career working for the Ohio State Highway Patrol for 10 years. Bruce later worked as a Mahoning County Deputy Sheriff for 25 years until retiring. Bruce loved boating and was a member of the Riverside Yacht Club in Ashtabula. He also enjoyed golfing, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his faithful companion, his dog, Fritz.
Bruce is survived by two sons, Keith Trittschuh of Youngstown and Matthew Trittschuh of Austintown; a daughter, Lauren Trittschuh of Warren; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Martin Trittschuh.
Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 3 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
