Robert Warg

AUSTINTOWN - A Divine Liturgy will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. George Byzantine Church, for Robert A. Warg, 87, who died Thursday morning at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.

Robert was born May 21, 1927, in Youngstown, to Alex and Mary (Hayden) Warg.

Robert worked as a machinist at Wean United for 25 years and a bus driver for the Austintown School System for 10 years.

His wife, the former Geraldine M. Wemm, whom he married Sept. 1, 1950, died June 6, 1993.

Robert is survived by two sons, Thomas Warg of Austintown and Donald (Karen) of Austintown; a brother, Walter (Pat) Warg of Youngstown; and a grandson, Samuel Warg.

He was also preceded in death by his brother, Ernest Warg.

Family and friends may call on Saturday from 9 to 9:45 a.m. at the church.

Burial will take place at Resurrection Cemetery.
