AUSTINTOWN- A memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, at 9:30 a.m., at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 4500 Norquest Blvd., Youngstown, for Roberta J. Henik, 79, of Victoria House, who was called home early Friday morning at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.
Roberta was born on Jan. 1, 1936, in Youngstown to her loving parents, Angelo and Anna (Beca) Passarelli.
She was a 1953 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School.
After high school, Roberta began working in the accounts receivable department at Pharmor, retiring in 1996.
Anyone who knew Roberta, knows how much her family meant to her. Her greatest joy was spending time with them. She loved to garden, listen to music, and play bingo and cards.
She was also a member of the Catholic Women's Club, and the Buckeye Elk's Lodge in Girard.
Roberta leaves to cherish her memory her two daughters, Sheri (John) Creech, of Youngstown, and Jill (Mike) Savetski, of Medina; her sister; Linda Passarelli, of Austintown; her three grandchildren, Kaila Griffin, Michael Savetski, and Nathan Savetski; and many great friends.
Besides her parents, Roberta was preceded in death by an infant son.
Roberta's family would like to express their gratitude to Victoria House in Austintown, and the medical staff at St. Elizabeth for their wonderful care and compassion of their mother.
