YOUNGSTOWN-Services will be Friday at 11:00 AM at the Martin Luther Lutheran Church for Roberta Gaye Klamer age 67 of Sunnybrook Dr. who passed away Tuesday morning at her home after a 3 month illness. Gaye was born June 17, 1936, in Youngstown, the daughter of Robert and Elizabeth C. Walters Simcox. She had worked as a displayer for Home Interiors for over 14 years until the time of her illness.
She was a 1954 graduate of Chaney High School, and an active member of Martin Luther Lutheran Church, where she was the director of its West of 50's Club, and a member of its craft club. She was a member of the Saxon Club, and enjoyed sewing and crafts. She is survived by her husband John E. Klamer whom she married December 14, 1956, a daughter Kay Klamer of Youngstown, a son Paul Klamer of Youngstown, and a sister Shirley Lynn Vince Rizzo of Lee, Fla. Friends may call from 4 PM to 7 PM Thursday evening at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel, and from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM Friday morning at the church.
