AUSTINTOWN - Prayers will begin Wednesday morning at 9:30 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church for Robin Paige Stock, 55, who died suddenly and unexpectedly Friday afternoon in the St. Elizabeth Health Center ER in Youngstown.
Robin was born Jan. 8, 1957, in Greenville, Pa., the daughter of Norman T. and Beverly P. Brakeman Viets.
She was a 1975 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School and was currently working as Vice President/Sales Manager for First Place Bank in their Cornersburg office. She was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, the Austintown Rotary, where she had served as treasurer, and had done volunteer work at the Rescue Mission. Robin was a proud cancer survivor, was active in Relay for Life and loved to dance.
She is survived by her parents, Norman T. and Beverly P. Viets of Austintown; a daughter, Courtny P. and a son, Craig R., at home; a sister, Sharon L. Viets of Austintown; two brothers, William J. Joice Viets of Delaware, Ohio, and Michael N. Viets of Austintown; nieces and nephews Richard T., Tara A., William J. III, Jenna L., Jamie R., Carissa L. and Morgan M.; and her former husband, Robert Stock of Boardman.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard T. and Darrell C. Viets.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel.
The family has requested that material tributes take the form of donations to Relay for Life in Robin's memory.
