Rodney Gray, Sr

AUSTINTOWN - Rodney A. Gray Sr., 46, passed away unexpectedly at his home.

Rodney was born May 15, 1970, in Salem, a son of Frank D. and Diana (Boggess) Gray.

Rodney was always a family man and loved spending time with his loved ones. He was always the life of the party, and did his best to cheer everyone up. Some of his favorite hobbies were playing cards, riding his motorcycle, playing pool and spending time with family and friends. He was also an avid Browns fan.

He will be dearly missed by many friends and family.

He is survived by his mother, Diana Gray of Austintown; a stepfather, Robert Lapushansky of Warren; a daughter, Ashley Gray of Youngstown; two sons, Rodney A. Gray Jr. of Youngstown and Jarrod Kaminsky; two sisters, Debbie (Doug) Pegg of Goshen Township and Terri Spicker of Austintown; two brothers, Kevin Gray of Youngstown and Greg Gray of Austintown; and four nieces and four nephews.

Rodney was preceded in death by his father, Frank D. Gray.

Family and friends may call Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel. Following calling hours, Rodney's family will continue the tribute to him at the Chalet in Cornersburg.

In lieu of flowers, material tributes may take the form of donations in care of the funeral home.
