NORTH CAROLINA - Ron Croutch, 34, passed away unexpectedly the evening of Saturday Oct. 12, 2013.
Ron was born Aug. 16, 1979, in Youngstown, the son of Kathy (George) Bohecker and Robert (Karen) Croutch.
He graduated from Chaney High School and attended Salem-Teiako University in West Virginia. Ron moved to North Carolina and lived there for 11 years. He worked as an Optician for Lens Crafters and Eye Care Associates of North Carolina for many years. He also wrestled in the Pro Magnum Wrestling League, under the name "Ash." While in North Carolina, Ron also became an Ordained Minister.
Ron was an avid New York Giants fan and enjoyed spending time at the beach.
He is survived by his parents; three brothers, Raymond Croutch, Dan Harvischak and Dan Rodgers; his grandmother, Josephine Croutch; his very special aunt and uncle, Nikki and Pat Pecorelli; aunts and uncles, Kenny (Nancy) Croutch, Karen (Rocco) Ferreri, Mary (Dave) Stana, Dave (Carrie) Croutch; William (Brenda) Slanina, Tina (Leo) Colbert, Mary (Manny) Tavares, and Mike (Crissy) Slanina; and several cousins.
Ron was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mildred Bohecker; grandfather Robert Croutch Sr.; and his uncle, Steve Slanina.
A private memorial service will be held on Friday.
