AUSTINTOWN - Prayers will be held Monday at 10:00 a.m. at the
Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church for Ronald L Colla, 56, who passed away Sunday at his home.
Ron was born Jan. 31, 1953 in Youngstown, the son of Samuel and
Clara Louise Witzeman Colla Sr..
Ron was a 1971 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School. He worked for Colla's Market from 1973 to 2000. For the past nine years he's been self employed by buying and selling items on ebay. He also enjoyed cars and collecting coins.
Ron leaves his mother Clara Louise Colla of Youngstown; two brothers; Paul Colla and John Mary Colla both of Austintown; four nieces and nephews; Lisa, Jennifer, John F. and Gina Colla.
Ron was preceded in death by his father and a brother Samuel Colla, Jr.
Friends may call Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that material tributes take the form of donations to the the family.
