Amherst- Funeral services will be private for Ronald L. Frederick, age 73, of Amherst, formerly of Youngstown, who died Tuesday evening at his residence surrounded by his family.
Ronald was born January 26, 1936 in Youngstown, to the late Albert and Christina Schuller Frederick.
He graduated from Chaney High School in 1954. Ronald was a Utilities Manager for U.S. Steel in Youngstown for 21 years and with USS Kobe eight years retiring in 1994.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his sons, Richard A. and Robert S. Frederick, and a brother, Donald Frederick.
He is surivived by a daughter, Sherry Jim Koekota of Lorain, two sons, Ron Kathy Frederick of Lorain, and Randy Frederick of Amherst and their mother Margaret J. Leasure of Austintown; Five grandchildren, Trisha, Carla, Jim, Kathy, and Alexandra, and a great grandson Alex; two sisters, Audry Martin of Youngstown, and Wilda Shroll of Parma Heights, a brother Robert Dorothy Frederick of Youngstown. He truely loved spending time with his family, he will be missed.
