Ronald Kalna

YOUNGSTOWN - Ronald Kalna, 58, died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015, at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.

He was born Dec. 23, 1956, in Youngstown, to Stephen M. and Helen L. (Hoffman) Kalna.

Ronald worked for 15 years as a truck driver and was also a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

He is survived by two daughters, Amber Kalna of Poland and Christy Kalna of Las Vegas; two sisters, Stephanie Sanders (fiancé Walter Clark) of Austintown and Janet (Russell) Peacock of Brookfield; two brothers, Michael (Jodie) Kalna of Austintown and Bobby (Kelly) Kalna of Austintown; a nephew, Tommy Yaksich; and a granddaughter, Vivynne Kalna.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Richard Kalna; a sister, Judy Yaksich; and a nephew, Anthony Sanders.

There will be no calling hours or services.

The family has requested that material tributes take the form of donations in care of the funeral home to help the family.
