Ronald P. Kosarko, 69
AUSTINTOWN - Prayers will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Ronald P. Kosarko, 69, who died Thursday at Hospice House, with his family at his side.
Ronald was born Jan. 25, 1947, in Cleveland, the son of Albert and Rose (Badoski) Kosarko.
Ronald was a member of St. Joseph Church. He was employed at GM and retired in 2006. Ronald had a special love for cars and restored old Camaros. He was a member of the NEOCC, a member of the Wanderers Car Club and frequently attended car cruises with his Camaros. He had a special bond with his children and adored his grandchildren.
Ronald is survived by his wife, the former Helen M. Wodecki, whom he married April 15, 1972; his mother, Rose Kosarko of Cleveland; a daughter, Lori Kosarko of Pittsburgh; two sons, Mark (Nicole) Kosarko of Columbus and Matthew (Stephanie Kent) Kosarko of Cleveland; a sister, Beverly Kosarko of Cleveland; two brothers, Don Kosarko of Medina and Ken Kosarko of Cleveland; and eight grandchildren, Grady, Peyton, Luke, Simon, Fiona, Penny, Violet and Pearl.
He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Kosarko; and a beloved aunt, Ann Gallagher.
Family and friends may call Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
