MILLERSBURG - A funeral service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, officiated by the Rev. William J. Loveless, for Mr. Ronald J. Stokan, 66, who died Thursday afternoon at Hospice Center, Akron.
He was born Nov. 7, 1946, in Youngstown, a son of John and Mary Havrila Stokan.
Ronald was a 1965 graduate of Chaney High School, was an Army Vietnam veteran and had retired on disability from the military. He had lived over 10 years in Millersburg.
Ronald leaves his mom, Mary West from Youngstown; a sister, Judy Dick Bennett of Youngstown; a niece, Tina Bill Bisker of Austintown; two nephews, Jim Liz Getz of Liberty and Fred Bennett of Las Vegas; a great-niece, Lauren Getz; three great-nephews, Bill Bisker Jr., Lewis Bisker and Justin Getz.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Stokan; and step-father Robert West Sr.
Friends may call Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
