YOUNGSTOWN - “I don’t need a damn obituary; people know who the hell I am.” He leaves behind a half a pack of smokes, a bottle of JB and an empty bar stool in the hearts of many. That being said, Ron enjoyed his time and many friends at the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the St George Croatian Club where he will be mourned. In his younger days, he and wife Phyllis loved a good garage/pool party at their home on Lucerne Lane, where all the world’s problems could be solved in one evening, if only the idiots in Washington would have listened. His other hobbies included smoking, watching the Browns lose on Sundays, smoking, NASCAR when it was real racing, and a good stiff drink with his brother Mickey, did I mention smoking.
The Family would like to thank Diane and Ed Reese and the Staff at Inn at Walker Mill for the wonderful loving care they provided to “Sr. Smoke” over the last 5 years. Ed attended many a Lucerne Lane Garage party in his younger days which we are convinced help shape his future successes in the political and business worlds.
Per his request there will be no services, his children, Ronald Yarab Jr (Susan), Diane Reed Yarab (Heath) and Daryled Yarab will plan a Celebration of a life well lived at the F.O.E. this fall. The Quiet Intimidator will be missed!
