Austintown--- Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 A.M. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel for Rose E. Murray, age 91, of Aspen Dr., who died late Tuesday evening at Omni Manor Nursing Home after a long illness. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Rose was born October 19, 1912 in Uniontown P.A., the daughter of Stewart and Lucinda Blaney Clovis, and moved to Youngstown in 1942.
Rose was a homemaker and of the Presbyterian Faith, and was a avid bowler and golfer until she was 84yrs. old. She was also a charter member of the Meander Golf League, and 1930 graduate of Uniontown High School.
Her husband Oliver Lee Murray whom she married February 24, 1934 died November 14, 1973.
She leaves to cherish her memory a sister-in-law Yvonne Murray Of Youngstown, three cousins Myrtle, Rose, and Wilma, her adopted family Colleen Charles Solinger, Melissa, Erik Shawna, and Elizabeth Solinger, Seven Nieces Rose Johnson, Patricia Dame, Sylvia Clovis, Barbara Sharell, Maryc Keener, Jean Slavin, and Sally Katherinchak, and three Nephews Stewart Clovis Jr., Richard and Kenneth Murray.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. on Thursday, and from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Friday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel.
