Rosemarie Connors

YOUNGSTOWN - Prayers will begin Monday at 9:15 AM at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Boardman-Canfield Chapel, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Dominic's Church for Rosemarie I. Connors, 85, who died early Wednesday morning at home surrounded by her family.

Rosemarie was born August 5, 1928, in Youngstown, to Christy and Katherine (Zvara) Cipriano.

She was a graduate of North Lima High School and Youngstown College where she majored in secretary studies.

Rosemarie worked as a secretary in the volunteer department at St. Elizabeth Hospital for over 10 years. She was a member of St. Dominic's Church, the Jollyette's Ladies Club and the Woman's Auxiliary at St. Elizabeth's Hospital.

Rosemarie enjoyed spending summers at Madison on the Lake. Most of all, she enjoyed the time spent with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Edward B. Connors, whom she married Oct. 7, 1950; her four children, Ed (Janice) Connors of Berlin Center, Kathy (Richard) Caine of Saratoga Springs, NY, Don (Kathy) Connors of Hubbard and Cindy Bourne of Saratoga Springs, NY; a brother Harry Cipriano of Phoenix, AZ; three sister-in-laws, MaryAnn Cipriano of Vermont, Maureen Connors of Columbus, and D'Arcy Erdman of FL; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Rosemarie was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Jim and Christopher Cipriano.

Family and friends may call Sunday from 2 to 5 PM at the funeral home.

The family requested that material tributes take the form of donations to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market St. Youngstown, OH 44512.
