AUSTINTOWN-Services will be Wednesday at 10:00 AM at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel, and at 10:30 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church for Rosemarie Shanabarger age 64 who passed away early Saturday morning at her home after an extended illness.
Rosemarie was born May 4, 1942, in Youngstown, the daughter of Homer L. and June P. Carroll.
She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, and remembered by her family as a dedicated and loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Her husband Ronald H. Shanabarger whom she married June 23, 1961, died January 12, 2004. She is survived by two daughters, June Marie Gary Bohr of Austintown, and Rose Marie Tim Phenicie of Suffolk, Virginia, two sons, Ronald H. Meri Shanabarger, Jr. of Austintown, and Donald D. Maria Shanabarger of Mt. Airy, MD, two sisters, JoAnn Barry Claycomb of Youngstown, and Debbie Miller of Mineral Ridge, three brothers, George W. Marilyn Emerick of New Springfield, Albert C. Diane Emerick of Youngstown, and Michael J. Nancy Emerick of Austintown, and eleven grandchildren, Timmy, BriAnne, Ryan, Erica, Gary, Donald, Christopher, Taylor, Matthew, Austin, and Ike.
Besides her husband she was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call from 4 PM to 8 PM Tuesday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel.
The family has requested that material tributes take the form of donations to Hospice of the Valley 5190 Market Street, Boardman, Ohio 44512.
