Services will be held on Saturday at 9:30 A.M. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home Austintown Chapel and 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Austintown for Rosemary V. Baker, age 80, of Austintown who died Wednesday morning at Forum Northside Medical Center after complications from surgery. Mrs. Baker was born February 28, 1924, in Punxsutawney, PA a daughter of Fredrick and Vera Burns Nollen and came to this area in 1942. She was a Navy W.W.II veteran. She had retired from Ohio Edison after twenty-five years as an appliance sales person and in the credit dept. She was member of the church and the Friday night Ladies Trio at Wedgewood Bowling Lanes. Her husband Thurman Baker who she married June 5, 1948, died Jan. 30, 1995.
Mrs. Baker leaves a daughter Barbara Baker of Youngstown; two sons Charles Baker of Memphis, Tenn. and Robert AliceBaker of Struthers, Ohio; a sister Jeanne Schriner of Austintown and a brother Jerome Nollen of Washington, Pa.; two granddaughters Jennifer Lynn Olmstead and Amy Lee Baker and a great-granddaughter Arienna. She was preceded in death by her husband Thurman and her son Ronald; 4 sisters Ruth Schriner; Peggy Kicula, Josephine Burch, Marian VanValien and two brothers Al and Fred Nollen.
