Roy Greco

Roy Thomas Greco Jr., 74, of Canfield, Ohio, passed away on July 30, 2024. He was born on September 23, 1949, in Youngstown, Ohio, to the late Roy T. Sr. and Anne Greco.

Roy was the beloved husband of Susan Greco and a devoted father to Micah (Heather) Schulman, Aaron (Jen) Schulman, Dana Schulman, and Julia (Jeremy) Riga. He was preceded in death by his son, Roy T. Greco III. He was a cherished grandfather to Rachel, Aiden, Grace, Morgan, Joy, Emily, Max, and Audrey. Roy is also survived by his dear sister, Rowena Greco.

Roy had an unstoppable work ethic and a talent for mechanical invention. He retired from a fulfilling career as a Mechanic Supervisor with the Mahoning County Engineers and later served as a dedicated bus driver for Canfield Schools.

Roy had a passion for football, weightlifting, and golf, and loved sharing these activities with others. His loyalty as a friend was unmatched, and he was always ready with an animated story that could light up a room with laughter.

Roy was a hero to his family, offering unwavering support with quiet strength. He not only built a beautiful house but also created a loving home. He was a raucous fixer of cars and a gentle mender of broken hearts. His generous and comforting hugs will be deeply missed.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM Friday October 11th at St. Edward Church.

Roy's legacy of love, strength, and dedication will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
