Russell Golden Jr

Boardman - Funeral Services will be held Sunday at 5:00 Pm at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Poland Chapel for Mr. Russell J. Golden Jr. age 77, of Boardman died Thursday morning at Assumption Village surrounded by his family.

Russell was born November 13, 1932 in Akron, Ohio a son of Russell J. and Florence M. Bacher Golden Sr.

He moved to this area in 1973 from Florida. He then began his career at the Youngstown Vindicator as the foreman of the mailroom, retiring after twenty five years. He was a veteran of the Korean War where he had served with the Army. He was an avid Cardinal Mooney and Notre Dame fan.

He is survived by his wife the former Linda Langley whom he married June 27, 1964, a daughter Angel Mike Trell. and three grandchildren; Alexis, Erin and Madalyn Trell all of Boardman.

Friends may call from 4:00 Pm till the time of service at the funeral home on Sunday.

The family has requested that material tributes take the form of donations to the Alzheimer's Association or Easter Seals adult day care program in Russell's memory.
