AUSTINTOWN - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, Sept. 15, 2017, at noon, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Austintown for Mrs. Ruth L. Hall Krajcirik, 72, who passed away on Sept. 9, 2017, surrounded by her family.
Ruth was born Sept. 29, 1944, in Youngstown, the fourth daughter of five of John and Elizabeth (Hunt) Hall. In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her sisters, Carol McCreary, Marge Seckler, and Joann Harkins.
She was a dedicated wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend.
Ruth is survived by her husband of 50 years, William J. Krajcirik, whom she married on Sept. 9, 1967. Her two children are William Krajcirik Jr. of Beaver Township and Sheri Young of Canfield; her sister, Susan (Browning) Fields of High Point, N.C.; and three grandchildren, Nick Krajcirik, Tyler and Britney Young.
Beloved "Nan" to her grandchildren, she loved being a part of their everyday lives by attending their school functions, baseball games, basketball games, volleyball games, and soccer games.
Ruth was always devoted to her family and she was an avid member of St. Joseph's Parish in Austintown.
She was a graduate of Boardman High School.
Ruth enjoyed shopping, makeup, going to the casino, playing bingo with her friends, attending water aerobic classes, and baking. She was known for her delicious chocolate candies, pinwheel cookies, and chocolate frosted cakes. Another interest of hers was planting flowers and gardening.
She had met a lot of kind-hearted individuals and will be sincerely missed by all that knew and truly loved her.
Friends may call Friday from 10 to 11:45 a.m. at St. Joseph Church.
