CLEARWATER, FLA. There will be services at 1 p.m. Monday at the Concordia Lutheran Church for Ruth Remick, 81, formerly of Austintown, who died Wednesday at Morton Plant Hospital.
Ruth was born March 2, 1924 in Tarentum, Pa., the daughter of John and Mary Plesko Marcis. She moved to Clearwater in 1987 from Austintown.
Ruth was a secretary with Alcoa Aluminum in New Kensington, Pa., for six years. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Clearwater.
Ruth is survived by her husband, John; three sons, Robert W. Remick of Youngstown, John A. Remick of Richmond, Va., and Arthur J. Remick of Poland; a daughter, Deborah R. Hoffman of Tampa, Fla.; two sisters, Olga Daniels of
Oviedo, Fla., and Esther Pagac of Youngstown; and eight grandchildren.
Friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. Monday at the Concordia Lutheran Church.
