Austintown - Private family services were held for Sandi Lee Pallo, 71, who passed away Sunday afternoon at the St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.
Sandi was born March 4, 1946, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Ernest and Florence Mae (Jugenheimer) Taylor.
She was a 1964 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School, and worked as a nurse for 34 years at numerous nursing homes.
Sandi was a member of her mother's card club for many years and Austintown Fraternal Order of Eagles, 3298.
Sandi enjoyed gambling and dancing, especially with her husband. She also loved roller skating, where she won many awards. She was a passionate and loving grandmother to her grandkids.
Sandi leaves her husband, Robert P. Pallo, whom she married June 7, 2008; two step-daughters, Dawn Pallo and Courtney (Carl) Alleger; her nephew, Daniel J. with whom he made his home; three step-grandchildren, Trinity, Penny and Griffin; and her brothers, Kenneth (girlfriend, Tonya) Taylor and Keith (Cindy) Taylor.
Material tributes may take the form of donations to the family.
Arrangements are being handled by the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel.
