Sandra L. Dyke

CANFIELD — Sandra L. Dyke, 77, passed away peacefully on Friday, Jan. 3, 2025, at Briarfield at Ashley Circle, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on Feb. 12, 1947, in Youngstown, a daughter of Roy and Grace Stella Lathrop.

A 1965 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School, Sandra went on to dedicate her career to serving as a pharmacy technician at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital. 

Sandra is survived by her husband, Glenn Donnell Dyke, whom she married on Aug. 14, 1971; daughter, Jodi (Michael) McBride of Austintown; sons, Bobby (Brandy Rossi) Dyke of Liberty and Shawn (Terri) Dyke of Austintown; two sisters, Danasha Lathrop of Ashland and Yoyance (Brian) Mays of Florida; seven grandchildren, Britnee (Dakota) Ledsome, Shawn Dyke Jr., Blayne Dyke, Paige, Rylee, Cooper and Ryan McBride; six great-grandchildren, Lacey, Dakota Jr., Aida, Kenslee, Thorin and Olivia.

In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Pat Hamilton. 

Sandra will be laid to rest in Lake Park Cemetery.
