Sandra Inskeep

BOARDMAN - A memorial service will be held today at 3 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Poland Chapel, for Sandra J. Inskeep, 72, who passed away Thursday morning at Sunrise Assisted Living.
She was born April 2, 1940, in Gary, Ind., to Christian and Alice Beumer Baumann.
Sandra was a graduate of Choffin as a LPN, continuing with her education to be an RN through Youngstown State University, receiving her Associate's/Bachelor's Degree. She then attended Akron University, completing her Master's Degree.
Sandy worked for years in staff and management at St. Elizabeth's and later went on to teach at St. Elizabeth's School of Nursing, YSU, and Mercy College. She retired to care for the love of her life, Gene E. Inskeep, whom she married Nov. 27, 1968, until his passing on Feb. 11, 2008.
Sandra is survived by her mother; a daughter, Linda White of Boardman; four sons, Thomas Deanna Stanchek Jr. of California, William Stanchek of Orient, Ohio, Mark Tina Inskeep, and Matthew Inskeep of Lowellville; a brother, Craig Baumann of Adrian, Mich.; 15 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Family and friends may call today from 2 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family has requested that material tributes take the form of donations to Mercy School of Nursing at St. Elizabeth's Hospital.
