BOARDMAN-Services will be Saturday at 9:30 AM at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Boardman-Canfield Chapel, and at 10:00 AM at St. Charles Church for Sandra L. Kelzer age 61 of Boardman, who passed away on her 42nd Wedding Anniversary Wednesday afternoon at her home after a brief illness. Sandra was born November 11, 1942, in East Chicago, Indiana, the daughter of Woodrow S. and Catherine E. Goldasic Chapman.
She was a graduate of Crown Point High School in Indiana, and moved to this area in 1975 from Highland, Indiana. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed all types of crafts. She was a member of St. Charles Church, and the Saxon Club Ladies Auxiliary # 22.
She is survived by her husband Gene A. Kelzer whom she married September 15, 1962, three daughters, Christine M. Michael Golec of Austintown, Deborah A. Colbert of Boardman, Barbara J. John Costello of Poland, a son Brian C. Holly Kelzer of Mineral Ridge, a sister Kay Trump of Crown Point, Ind., a brother Richard Carol Chapman of Lowell, Ind., and eight grandchildren.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a brother George Chapman.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 Friday evening at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Boardman-Canfield Chapel.
The family requests that material tributes take the form of donations to either the American Cancer Society, or Hospice of the Valley.
