Sandy Kane

BOARDMAN-Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 1:00 PM at Calvary Cemetery for Sandy M. Kane age 77 of Lockwood Blvd. formerly of Halbert Dr. who passed away Thursday evening at St. Elizabeth Hospital after a long illness. Sandy was born January 17, 1927, in Youngstown, the daughter of Peter and Rose Petrony Genco. She had worked at the Strouss Department Store Baby wear Department, McKelvey's Grill, and later as an assembler for Plackie Toys. She was a member of the Christian Woman's Club.
She is survived by her husband Richard William Kane whom she married September 10, 1960, two sons Peter D. Fiest of Frt. Walton Beach, Fla., and Richard W. Martha Kane, Jr. of Youngstown, three sisters Pauline Mahan, Louise Ralph Davis, and Barbara Genco all of Las Vegas, and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister Rosemary Carkido, and a brother Leonard Genco.
The family requests that material tributes take the form of donations to the American Lung Association in her memory.
