AUSTINTOWN - Services will be Thursday afternoon at 1:00 PM at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel for Sara "Peg" Margaret Rinehart age 76 of Austintown who passed away Monday afternoon at her home surrounded by her family after a long battle with cancer.

Peg was born October 23, 1929, in Green County, Waynesburg, PA, the daughter of Harry and Mildred Blaker Garber.

She had worked at Packard Electric for over 33 years before retiring in 1987. She had attended Waynesburg High School, and was a member of the Croatian Hall # 66 and the Eagles Aerie # 3298 of Austintown.

She is survived by her husband Carl Rinehart whom she married February 15, 1947, a daughter Linda Rinehart Sine and her husband David "Mickey" Sine of Canfield, two sisters, Nora Jerry Anderson, of Waynesburg, and Bonnie Tom Chaney of Bryan, Ohio, a brother Donald Nancy Garber of Strongsville, Ohio, two grandchildren, David M. Tina Sine, and Jennifer Sine, five great-grandchildren, Michael, Alayna, and Nicholas Rozzi, and Kayla and Zachary Sine.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Tammy Sine Rozzi, and three sisters, Martha Brand, Mary Porter, and Wilma Jane Garber.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 Wednesday and from noon until the time of services Thursday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel.
