Boardman . . .. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday at 1:00 PM at Old North Church of Canfield for Mrs. Sarah Cannon, age 85, of Boardman who died Tuesday afternoon will her family by her side at St. Elizabeth Health Center.

Sarah was born Nov. 29, 1921 in Struthers, Ohio , a daughter of Carl and Ellen Marie Wilkstrom Johnson.

She was a graduate of Struthers High School, a charter member of Christ Church United Presbyterian Church and attended Old North Church; a member Of the Vasa Swedish lodge, Eastern Star, attended Senior Fun Days at Boardman Park, played cards in the neighborhood and was an avid Bingo player.

Sarah was married to John Cannon who she married May 17, 1941 and he preceded her in death Dec. 5, 1980.

She is survived by her two daughters Nancy Allan Williamson of Boardman, Charlene John Dobran of Dayton; a son John Terri Cannon of Boardman; 12 grandchildren Stephen, Bryan, Darrin Cannon and Aaron Svabik; Renee Rotunno, Jeff and Keith Williamson, Rhonda Cattaneo, Melissa Cherne and Karen McCallum; John Dobran Jr. and Christine Schriml; 17 Great grandchildren, Stephen Cannon, Jr., Andrew and Joshua Svabik; Ashlie, Alexis and Jonathan Dutton and Brianna Rotunno; Sarah Williamson, Kendal and Kevin Williamson, Morgan and Tyler Cherne, Kelsey McCallum; Dylan and Ian Dobran ; Preston and Jenna Schriml.

Sarah was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter Beverly Orr, a sister Lillian Brabrant; 2 brothers Robert C. and Ted Johnson.

Friends may call today from 4:00 -8:00 PM at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home Boardman-Canfield Chapel and on Friday one hour prior to the service.
