BEYER, PA. – A Memorial Mass will be held Friday at 11 A.M. at Christ Our Savior, St. Nicholas Church in Struthers for Sarah Kathleen (Sepesy) Slovinsky, 34, formerly of Struthers, who passed away on Sept. 18, 2018, in Rayne Twp., Indiana Co. due to a tragic bus accident.
She was born on May 1, 1984, to David Sr. and Shirley (Gbur) Sepesy in Youngstown.
She graduated high school at Struthers High School in 2002. Sarah was a bus driver for Smith Bus Co., Marion Center. She previously worked for Guardian Home Health.
She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Indiana, where she taught CCD classes.
Sarah was a loving, caring wife and mother whose heart was made of gold. She will be missed by not only family, but friends, coworkers, school children, and entire community. Her smile and spirit was contagious and will live on forever.
She was involved with the PTA and Food Bank in Marion Center. She helped with little league, football and the Plumville Fire Dept.
Sarah is survived by her husband, Thomas D. Slovinsky II, who she married Aug. 12, 2006; three sons, Trey, Trent, and Troy Slovinsky; parents David and Shirley Sepesy of Struthers; four brothers, David (Adrienne) Sepesy Jr. of Lowellville, Daniel Sepesy of Poland, Andrew (Samantha) Sepesy of Struthers, and Alexander Sepesy of Struthers; paternal grandfather Alexander Sepesy of Struthers; maternal grandfather John Gbur Sr. of Ashtabula; father and mother-in-law Thomas and Elsie Slovinsky of Beyer; brother-in-law Timothy (Samantha) Slovinsky of Beyer; nephews Alex, Micah, Nolan, and Landynn; and nieces Adryonna and Trinity.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Theresa Sepesy and maternal grandmother Barbara Gbur.
