Boardman - There will be services Monday at 1 PM at Higgins-Reardon Boardman-Canfield Chapel for Shari Thake, 46, who died Thursday Nov.29 at 6:30 p.m. at Michigan University Hospital in Ann Arbor, Mi.
She was born October 15, 1961 in Cincinnati, Ohio, daughter of Betty and the late Henry Thake. The family moved to Boardman in 1966.
She graduated from Boardman H.S. in 1980, attended YSU earning BA degrees in Business and accounting.
She leaves her brothers Timothy T. Thake of Lowelville, Michael Thake of Phoenix Az. and a sister Kathy Frank Perrotta of Struthers. along with 13 Nephews and nieces and 4 Great Nephews and nieces.
Home maker for the loves of her life fiance David Long and their 3 award winning German Shepard.
Because of her illness she was involved with Pulmonary Hypertension Association and was a guest speaker at the PHA conference in Miami Fla. with her doctor. She was a very active member in Youngstown All Breeds Training Club and earned several awards for her German shepherds. Her many hobbies included crafts, cross stitching and was a master ACC.
Family and friends may call Sunday Dec. 2 from 3:00 to 7:00 at funeral home.
The family requests material tributes take the form of donations to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association or the Youngstown All Breeds Training Club.
