YOUNGSTOWN - Services will be Tuesday at 12:30 PM at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel, and at 1:00 PM at St. Brendan Church for Sharon L. Cogar age 46 of Youngstown who passed away Saturday morning at the home of her parents after a six week illness with cancer.
Sharon was born July 21, 1958, in Youngstown, the daughter of Philip J. and Mary Ronan Cogar.
She was a 1976 graduate of Chaney High School, and had worked for many years at American Paper Products. Most recently she had worked as a substitute food service technician for the Youngstown City Schools, and was currently working as a food service technician for the Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities. She was a member of St. Brendan Church.
She is survived by a son Joshua J. Cogar a student at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, three sisters, Raelene Mark Kish of Youngstown, Mary Ellen Thomas of Hubbard, and Lisa Cogar of Youngstown, a brother James Doreen Cogar of Canfield, and eight nieces and nephews.
