Sherree Kalasky

YOUNGSTOWN - Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, for Sherree M. (Luscre) Kalasky, 56, who died Tuesday afternoon at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.

Sherree was born Aug. 16, 1958, in Youngstown, the daughter of Anthony Luscre and Roselynn (Bellino) Ferranti.

She attended Austintown Fitch High School and worked in catering service for many years, however, disability forced her into early retirement in 2012 from The Embassy. Sherree also worked at the Maronite Center, The Georgetown, Lockwood House and I.T.A.M.S. Post 3.

Sherree spent her free time enjoying youth sports of her nephews and grandchildren, playing bingo, reading, watching her favorite TV shows and attending church.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph A. Kalasky Jr., whom she married Dec. 10, 1977; her mother, Roselynn Ferranti of Austintown; a daughter, Kimberly Kalasky of Youngstown; two sons, Anthony F. Winterburn of Austintown and Jason J. Kalasky of Boardman; a sister, Roxann (Bill) Pounds of Austintown; a brother, Rocco Luscre of Austintown; and eight grandchildren, Dylan Kalasky, Alysa Winterburn, Anthony Winterburn II, Cody, Austin Winterburn, Delonta Kalasky, Caleb Kalasky, and Dasha Clayborne.

Sherree was preceded in death by her father, Anthony Luscre; and sister-in-law Amy Luscre.

Family and friends may call Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, material tributes can take the form of donations in care of the funeral home.
