Sheryl York

AUSTINTOWN - A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Tabernacle Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 2432 S. Racoon Road, for Sheryl S. (Hamrick) York, 67, who passed away Sunday at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.

Sheryl was born Nov. 1, 1949, in Detroit, a daughter of the late E.W. and Margaret H. (Pleidgen) Hamrick.

Sheryl was a 1967 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School. She was a health care worker for many years. She had a passion for antique doll collecting and was an antique doll clothing designer. Sheryl enjoyed working with elderly and loved her pets.

Sheryl leaves her sisters, Barbara (John) Hamrick Liposchak of Wilmington, N.C. and Judy Hamrick of Austintown; a brother, Edward (Nancy) Hamrick of Cortland; her nieces and nephews, Jessicca (Brian) Hamrick Richard, Pattie (Michael) Carano Jude Erin, and Tyler Hamrick; three great-nieces and great-nephews, Aeva, Celesta, and Rhett; and her devoted friends, Brian Kelley and Jodi Fox.

Professional arrangement were handled by the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel.
