Stacie M. Hickman

CANFIELD - Stacie M. Hickman (McCuskey), age 55, of Canfield, OH, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 6, 2025, after a courageous battle with extended health-related issues.

Born on September 30, 1969, in Sharon, PA, to Stephen and Shirley McCuskey, Stacie was a proud 1988 graduate of Sharon High School. Following her graduation, she honorably served her country in the United States Navy.

Stacie possessed a rare combination of inner and outer beauty. Her warm and genuine spirit allowed her to forge lasting friendships wherever she went. Known for her infectious sense of humor, she brought laughter and joy to those around her. She cherished her time socializing with family and friends, creating treasured memories.

A true cinema enthusiast, Stacie found delight in mystery, horror, and thriller films. Her passion for music was equally profound, with a particular fondness for Fleetwood Mac and Whitesnake. Stacie also found great pleasure in expressing her creativity through arts and crafts.

Above all, Stacie's greatest joy and achievement was raising her daughter, Brooke, whom she loved unconditionally. Their bond was a testament to the depth of her love and devotion.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Brooke Pawluk (Hickman) and son-in-law Michael Pawluk; her mother, Shirley McCuskey; her three brothers, Stephen, Scott (Kim), and Shane (Jodi); and a host of extended family and dear friends who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her father, Stephen McCuskey Jr., and her grandparents.

A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
