YOUNGSTOWN - Private services were held Tuesday for Mrs. Stella Hudoba, 89, formerly of Struthers, who died Saturday evening at Omni Manor.
Mrs. Hudoba was born Oct. 19, 1921, in Youngstown, a daughter of Michael and Catherine Segelsky Sitnik.
She attended Chaney High School and had been a member of Highway Tabernacle. Her greatest love was her family and her greatest joy was flower gardening and helping others start their flower gardens.
Stella was married to Andrew Hudoba, whom she married Oct. 4, 1941.
She leaves her husband; a daughter, Jaclyn Palowitz of Bonita Springs, Fla.; two sons, Dr. Russell Marilyn Hudoba of Poland and Ronald Roseann Hudoba of Farmersville, La.; seven grandchildren, Douglas Jamie and Michael Hudoba, Lauren and Adrienne Palowitz, Rhonda Joe Booth, Renee Kyle Lopez and Rachael Fernando Carbajal; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Marie Casar and Ann Budinsky and three brothers, Stephen Setnick, John Sitnik and Michael Sitnic.
With Stella's love of flowers, the family would like any donations to be made to Fellows Riverside Gardens, 123 McKinley Ave., Youngstown, OH 44509, in memory of Stella.
